Team News: Liverpool vs Everton

Liverpool vs Everton
Premier League; Tuesday 13th March; 8pm

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is expected to return to the starting line-up after missing the defeat to Arsenal and coming in the defeat to Sunderland on Saturday.

Gerrard picked up a hamstring injury on international duty prior to the Arsenal game.

Glen Johnson missed the trip to Sunderland but is doubtful to start tonight, meaning Martin Kelly is likely to continue at right back.

At centre-back, Kenny Dalglish must decide whether to bring back Jamie Carragher or stick with Sebastian Coates. If Coates starts you can assume Carragher was dropped after his display against Arsenal. If Carra returns, perhaps he was rested on Saturday with tonight in mind.

It will be interesting to see if Dalglish keeps faith with out-of-form midfielder Charlie Adam.

In attack, Andy Carroll and Stewart Downing are pushing for starting places and could replace Bellamy and Kuyt alongside Suarez.

Everton have midfielder Steven Pienaar available again after he missed their win against Spurs due to being on loan from them.

Possible line-ups:

Liverpool: Reina, Kelly, Carragher, Skrtel, Enrique, Spearing, Gerrard, Henderson, Downing, Suarez, Carroll.

Everton: Howard, Neville, Distin, Heitinga, Baines, Coleman, Cahill, Osman, Fellaini, Pienaar, Jelavic.
