Video: Raheem Sterling’s Liverpool debut

The one bright spot in today’s abysmal defeat to another relegation threatened side was the debut of seventeen year old winger Raheem Sterling.

The England youth international replaced Dirk Kuyt in the 84th minute and in his brief cameo showed why he is so highly rated.

Signed from QPR in 2010 for an initial fee of £600,000 – which could rise to £5m – Sterling became Liverpool’s third ever youngest player.
