Praise pours in from Suso’s peers

Fellow Liverpool youngster Dani Pacheco has revealed that Suso’s break into being a regular first team player this season has come of no surprise to him.

New Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has shown his faith in the Liverpool youth system this season with Raheem Sterling and Andre Wisdom also breaking into the senior team from the youth ranks.

And Spanish U-21 international Pacheco, who himself is still hoping to impress Rodgers enough to be part of his plans, says Suso’s ability to change a game is why he is the hot topic at Anfield right now.

“He hasn’t surprised me,” Pacheco told the club’s official website. “I know how well he can play, how he can change games and how confident he is on the ball.

“He can play against Manchester United or any team in the league and there won’t be any nerves. He’ll get on the ball and play football. He got a chance and he’s taken it.

“He can be as good as he wants to be. We don’t have to put any pressure on him – we have to let him enjoy his football and keep doing what he’s doing. He is still very young, every player needs to improve and every player will get better and better if he keeps playing.”
