FULHAM conceded four last week against already relegated Reading and haven’t won in six. Though they’re more or less safe with five teams between them and the dreaded drop they’ll surely be looking to improve when Liverpool come to visit. Their dreadful current form however suggests that they will struggle to keep out a superior Liverpool side.

Quite what will become of the errant Uruguayan in the months to come remains to be seen but it would appear that in Sturridge, Liverpool have an extremely capable alternative.
