Friday’s LFC Rumours: Caulker latest, Remy and Bernard linked

Steven Caulker is a player who has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool this summer – as he was last year too. Here’s the latest LFC rumours.

The 22-year-old is expected to leave Welsh side Cardiff City after their relegation from the Premier League and Brendan Rodgers is keen on signing the player he previously had on loan at Swansea.

Rodgers attempted to sign Caulker when he left Tottenham for Cardiff last summer for £9m, but Spurs refused to sell to a rival.

WalesOnline are the latest to report Liverpool’s interest in signing the Englishman.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are linked with QPR striker Loic Remy, who impressed on loan at Newcastle last season.

The reports though suggest that the interest – from Liverpool and Arsenal – is being talked up by the player’s agent.

And finally, for today, Liverpool could renew their interest in a player they were linked with last summer – Brazilian winger Bernard.

The Mirror write that the 21-year-old will leave Shaktar Donetsk this summer after signing for the Ukrainian side last summer. Mind, he’d cost £19m.

As ever, you can keep up with all the latest rumours and reports in the rumour mill.
