3 LFC Talking Points This Week: Besiktas Defeat, Beating Man City & February’s Star

A week that saw Liverpool dumped out of Europe in a penalty shoot-out defeat to Besiktas in Istanbul ended in triumph with a fantastic 2-1 victory over Manchester City back at Anfield.

Emotions for fans turned from despair to joy as Liverpool stepped up their challenge to finish in the top four Premier League places.
