Liverpool’s latest signing Roberto Firmino looks to have bags of confidence and a cheeky side — here he puts away a goal against Werder Bremen without even looking.
The goal came in a 1-1 draw between Bremen and Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga last season, the club Firmino leaves behind to complete his reported £29 million switch to Liverpool this summer.
Firmino has agreed a five-year contract at Anfield with chief executive Ian Ayre currently in Chile, where the attacking midfielder is representing his country at the Copa America, to finalise the deal.
The 23-year-old will then undergo a medical and work permit procedures before likely being officially unveiled next month.
Firmino becomes Liverpool’s fifth signing of the summer already, following the acquisitions of James Milner from Manchester City, Danny Ings from Burnley, Adam Bogdan from Bolton Wanderers and Joe Gomez from Charlton Athletic.
