Goalkeeper Simon Mignolet joined Jurgen Klopp for today’s pre-match press conference ahead of the Europa League quarter-final second-leg against Borussia Dortmund.
The Belgian fielded questions on the importance of the home crowd, whether he and his team mates have been practicing penalties in case they’re needed on the night, and the importance of a clean sheet – which would guarantee progress.
Mignolet said: “It’s a great occasion to play in. That’s what you want as a football player, you want to play in the big matches, so you look forward to that.
“We have to be professional and focus on the job and hopefully everyone at the club can enjoy the night.”
