Watch Jurgen Klopp‘s pre-match press conference ahead of Liverpool’s Europa League semi-final second-leg against Villarreal.

Klopp fielded questions on a variety of topics, first being asked about Leicester City‘s achievement of winning the Premier League.

“Congratulations, from the bottom of my heart,” he said. “[A] great story, cool, nobody will forget this story.”

Klopp confirmed that Emre Can will return to the squad for Thursday’s huge game, and discussed Daniel Sturridge‘s availability – but gave little away on whether the forward would start.

On the strength of Spanish football, the German said: “Spanish football is really impressive. Combine really good players with good tactical advice from outside.

“There will be a lot of Spanish teams in the European finals. Hopefully we can go there with the English flag.”

Liverpool are looking to reach their first European final since 2007, but must overcome a 1-0 defeat in the first-leg.
