“An indescribable feeling” – Liverpool players react to 3-0 League Cup win over Derby

Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius was among those to hail the Reds’ 3-0 victory over Derby County in the third round of the League Cup.

Jurgen Klopp‘s side secured a comfortable win over their Championship opposition at Pride Park, with Ragnar Klavan, Philippe Coutinho and Divock Origi hitting the goals.

It was a hugely positive performance from Liverpool, as they dominated throughout and produced some slick attacking football.

Now through to then fourth round, and one step closer to another final, Klopp’s players were in great spirits at full-time, taking to social media to celebrate their latest triumph.

Brazilian forwards Coutinho and Roberto Firmino took centre stage…

While Karius lauded the “indescribable feeling” of making his debut…

There was plenty of praise for another debutant, 18-year-old Ovie Ejaria

And peripheral figures Alberto Moreno and Lucas Leiva clearly enjoyed their night…

Crucially, however, much of the focus was on the win and progress to the next round…

The draw for the fourth round of the League Cup takes place on Wednesday night, with Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle United among those already in the hat.
