Jordan Henderson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Daniel Sturridge have all been included in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for October.
The Three Lions will take on Slovenia (October 5) and Lithuania (October 8) next month, as they continue to push for a place at next summer’s World Cup in Russia.
And Jurgen Klopp‘s Reds have three representatives among Southgate’s 26-man group, with both Henderson and Oxlade-Chamberlain likely starters.
Henderson will be vying for the captain’s armband with the likes of Joe Hart, Gary Cahill and Harry Kane, while Liverpool’s new No. 21 is set for a regular stint in midfield.
It is probably that Sturridge will be forced to settle for a place on the substitutes’ bench due to the enduring form of Kane, however.
England Squad for October’s World Cup Qualifiers
Goalkeepers: Joe Hart, Jack Butland, Fraser Forster, Jordan Pickford
Defenders: Gary Cahill, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Michael Keane, Harry Maguire, John Stones, Kieran Trippier, Kyle Walker, Ryan Bertrand, Aaron Cresswell

Elsewhere, Joe Gomez, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Sheyi Ojo and Dominic Solanke have all been called up for the England U21s’ European Championship qualifiers.
The Young Lions are set to face off against Scotland (October 6) and Andorra (October 11), with the Liverpool quartet all expected to see action.
Gomez is now Aidy Boothroyd’s captain, succeeding Southampton‘s James Ward-Prowse, marking his progress after a nightmare ACL injury picked up during Southgate’s U21s reign.
Currently on loan with Fulham, Ojo will be looking to continue his development by securing a key role under Boothroyd, with the youngster able to operate on either flank.
And Alexander-Arnold, who made his U21s debut earlier in September, can hope for another two outings in an England shirt.
It is bemusing to see Ryan Kent continually overlooked by the England setup, however, with the SC Freiburg loanee not included for the U20s or U21s, despite his clear quality.
But Rhian Brewster is part of the England U17s squad for next month’s World Cup in India.
