Jurgen Klopp has made two changes to his Liverpool lineup for Friday night’s crucial Premier League clash away to top-four rivals Arsenal.
The Reds headed to north London for their final outing before Christmas, looking to bring their unbeaten run to 13 games.
After their 4-0 victory away to Bournemouth last time out, Klopp’s side can take to the Emirates Stadium confident of another three points against a side they thrashed at Anfield in August.
But the Gunners’ defeat at the start of the season provides Arsene Wenger with fuel to prompt a revival, ensuring Friday’s face-off is a challenging one.
And while he has continued his rotational approach midway through a congested 13-game run, Klopp has once again named a strong side.
Simon Mignolet starts in goal, behind a back four of Joe Gomez, Dejan Lovren, Ragnar Klavan and Andrew Robertson.
In midfield, Jordan Henderson can look to build on his impressive display at Dean Court on Sunday, flanked by Emre Can and Philippe Coutinho.
And providing the firepower in the final third, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane support Roberto Firmino up front.
Liverpool have not lost to Arsenal in their last five games, winning their three most recent meetings, and Klopp will be hoping for another vital three points at the Emirates.
