“What a team!”, “A great step towards the next round” – Liverpool players react to 5-0 thrashing of Porto

Liverpool’s squad took to their social media accounts to celebrate the 5-0 demolition of Porto, and the Reds were understandably delighted.

Jurgen Klopp’s side added another famous European night to the collection to put one foot firmly in the Champions League quarter-finals.

The lethal trio once again did the damage as Sadio Mane’s hat-trick and strikes from Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino sealed the biggest knockout stage away win ever by an English side in the competition.

It was a statement victory that will live long in the memory, and not one team left will want to face Klopp’s Red machine in such devastating form.
