Liverpool’s squad have touched down at John Lennon airport ahead of their parade through the city with the Champions League trophy.
The Reds flew back from Madrid on Saturday morning with the European Cup trophy in tow—and proudly shown off by the triumphant manager Jurgen Klopp, and captain Jordan Henderson, after arriving back on Merseyside.
It’s six European triumphs now for the Reds, who erased the disappointment of Kyiv a year ago with a resilient and, at either extremity of the 90 minutes, clinical performance against Tottenham.
The trip home saw several epic photos of the squad and the management posted across social media, as Liverpool revelled in being European champions once more.
