Liverpool eased to a 2-0 win over MK Dons in the League Cup third round on Wednesday, with debutant Harvey Elliott among those to impress supporters.

The Reds took on their League One opponents at Stadium MK, with Jurgen Klopp making 11 changes to the side that beat Chelsea 2-1 on Sunday.

Liverpool dominated the first half and James Milner‘s goal was the difference at the break, following a terrible mistake by goalkeeper Stuart Moore.

Ki-Jana Hoever doubled his side’s lead with a powerful header on his first-ever senior start, sealing the victory in Milton Keynes.
