AXA Training Centre – Liverpool FC Training Ground, Kirkby

Liverpool FC moved to their new training ground in Kirkby in November 2020, after over 60 years at Melwood.

The move to Kirkby signalled the first time the club’s first-team and academy were based on the same site. There are two separate entrances and sides of the base for each.

The facility features:

  • 3 full size pitches
  • Goalkeeper and warm-up areas
  • Paddle tennis court
  • Beach volleyball court
  • 2 gyms
  • Full size sports hall
  • Swimming pool
  • Hydrotherapy suite
  • Rehabilitation suites
  • Dedicated TV studios and press facilities
