Liverpool FC moved to their new training ground in Kirkby in November 2020, after over 60 years at Melwood.
The move to Kirkby signalled the first time the club’s first-team and academy were based on the same site. There are two separate entrances and sides of the base for each.
The facility features:
- 3 full size pitches
- Goalkeeper and warm-up areas
- Paddle tennis court
- Beach volleyball court
- 2 gyms
- Full size sports hall
- Swimming pool
- Hydrotherapy suite
- Rehabilitation suites
- Dedicated TV studios and press facilities
