“The words ‘legend’ and ‘great’ are so often thrown around thesedays that it’s unfair to say Robbie is either of them. He is much greater than a great, and more legendary than your normal legend. He is God.
Like Ronnie O’Sullivan is the most natural snooker player the world has seen, Robbie was arguably the most natural goalscorer England has ever seen. Without Robbie the 1990’s would have been not only unsuccesful but also very dull.
It’s a huge shame he never won a League title and didn’t really grace the International scene, but his record of almost 200 goals in less than 400 matches speaks for itself and will forever leave a mark in the history of LFC.”
