Former Reds on the move

Former Liverpool striker Peter Crouch has completed a move to Tottenham, ruling out a return to Anfield following recent rumours suggested Rafa Benitez was monitoring developments.

Meanwhile, former right-back Steve Finnan is set to join Portsmouth from Espanyol – who Liverpool face on Sunday.

The Irishman joined the Spanish side on a free transfer last summer but has struggled with injuries since. A release package has been agreed between the player and the club which moves new permanent Pompey boss Paul Hart can make Finnan his first signing of the summer.
