David Ngog was again on target, while youngster Steven Irwin scored the second on his 20th birthday.
Daniel Agger returned to action, putting in an impressive display at the back and earning praise from new reserves boss John McMahon. “It was a good win for us and Daniel did really well and it was great to see him back,” McMahon told Liverpoolfc.tv.

“David scored again which is another plus for us and Stevie’s finish was excellent.”
