Glen Johnson returns to the side after a month on the sidelines, while Jordan Henderson comes back in for Joe Allen in midfield.
Either Johnson or Jon Flanagan will start at left-back, replacing Aly Cissokho, with Martin Skrtel and Daniel Agger at centre-back.
Raheem Sterling continues up front alongside Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.
