Daniel Sturridge is set to miss his third game in a row when Liverpool travel to West Brom on Saturday, out with the latest injury – his fifteenth since joining the club in January 2013.
The perennially injured forward has missed almost the whole campaign this season, starting just 12 times – 23% of Liverpool’s games.
That means that since he joined from Chelsea two years and three months ago, he’s started just 48% of all the games he’s been eligible to have started in.
Even adding in his substitute appearances during his time at Anfield, the 25-year-old has played in just 59% of the Reds’ games.
