Sturridge sub, Firmino starts – Confirmed Liverpool lineup vs. Villarreal

Jurgen Klopp starts with Roberto Firmino up front against Villarreal in the Europa League semi-final first-leg tonight.

Firmino gets the nod ahead of Daniel Sturridge, who again has to settle for a substitute role in Europe.

Klopp opts for Adam Lallana and Philippe Coutinho in support of Firmino, which was the attacking trio for the away wins at Chelsea and Man City earlier in the season.

Joe Allen lines up alongside Lucas and James Milner in a three-man midfield.

There’s another change from the side that started against Newcastle on Saturday, with Nathaniel Clyne returning at right-back.

With Mamadou Sakho now officially suspended by UEFA, Kolo Toure continues alongside Dejan Lovren at centre-back, with Clyne and Alberto Moreno at full-backs.

Christian Benteke is also on the bench.

Please follow and discuss the match in our live blog here.
