Confirmed Liverpool lineup vs. Chelsea: In-form Keita keeps his place in midfield

Jurgen Klopp has opted for two changes to his Liverpool side for this afternoon’s crucial clash at home to Chelsea in the Premier League.

The Reds are back in domestic action today, looking to build on an impressive display in Tuesday’s 2-0 win over Porto, in one of their biggest games of the season.

Chelsea arrive at Anfield in strong form, and will be looking to put a dent in their hosts’ title hopes, with victory for Klopp’s side imperative.

Fortunately, the manager is boosted by the return of a key name in defence this afternoon, as he names an ambitious starting lineup to take on the Blues.

Alisson remains in goal, as ever, behind a back four of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk and Andy Robertson.

Robertson missed the midweek victory through suspension, covered by the able James Milner, and should benefit from the rest during a demanding campaign.

In midfield, Fabinho takes up duties in the No. 6 role, joined by Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita, with the Guinean’s growing confidence earning his place.

And in attack Mohamed Salah takes on his former club, alongside Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

Firmino has been in excellent form of late, and the Brazilian could be key as his industry and creativity provide Liverpool with the thrust required to take all three points.

Eden Hazard starts up front for Chelsea, with Callum Hudson-Odoi on the left flank.

Liverpool: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Henderson, Keita; Salah, Mane, Firmino

Substitutes: Mignolet, Lovren, Milner, Wijnaldum, Shaqiri, Sturridge, Origi

Chelsea: Kepa; Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Emerson; Jorginho, Kante, Loftus-Cheek; Willian, Hudson-Odoi, Hazard
