It’s round three of the Liverpool-Arsenal trilogy, and after two 1-1 draws this week, it’s crunch time in the Champions League.
Liverpool have the slight advantage, carrying Dirk Kuyt’s away goal into this second leg on Tuesday night as they look to reach their third European Cup semi-final in the four years of the Rafa Benitez reign.
Benitez is expected to reshuffle his team after resting key players for Saturday’s Premier League draw at the Emirates Stadium. Torres, Gerrard, Mascherano, Babel, Kuyt, Alonso, Aurelio and Hyypia are all expected to return after missing the league match on Saturday.
