Come on you Blues?

Hboro tribute Everton flag

It’s a rare occasion, but the whole of Merseyside will be supporting the Blue half today as Everton take on Man United in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley this afternoon.

In a week which saw the city come together as one to standstill in memory of the 20th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster, tributes were paid by Blues boss David Moyes who, along with players Leon Osman and Leighton Baines, attended the memorial service, and an Evertonian flag was displayed in memory of the 96 last week at Villa Park.

Our poll has been asking visitors who they want to win this afternoon, with a huge 2,836 claiming they want a Blue victory, with just 283 for our neighbours from down the East Lancs Road.

Maybe though, the best result today would be a draw, forcing extra-time, a few injuries and a suspension or two!
