Fowler wants Rafa’s job!

Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has revealed his dream of one day becoming manager of Liverpool after his playing days are over.

Fowler is now playing his football at Australian side North Queensland Fury after two stints at Liverpool between 1993-2001 and 2006-2007.

The 34-year-old, who scored 128 goals in 256 games for the Reds, admitted he’s already started thinking about going into management.

He said, “Anyone who says they don’t want to manage Liverpool is lying – it’s a massive club.

“Personally, I always said I’d pack in young and take a break, but the older I’ve become, the more I’ve looked into coaching or managing.

“I probably will go down that route. It’s a tall order, and I’m not going to say I’ll go on to manage Liverpool, but you know.”
