Reds’ live TV games announced

Liverpool’s opening Premier League fixture against Tottenham Hotspur has been put back a day so that it can be shown live on Sky Sports.

The trip to White Hart Lane will now be played on Sunday 16th August with a 4pm kick-off and is one of eight live league games involving the Reds in the early part of the season.

From the 2009/10 season both Sky Sports and ESPN will be broadcasting live games.

Liverpool’s games at home to Aston Villa, Manchester Utd, Birmingham City and Manchester City are also televised, as well as the trips to West Ham, Chelsea and Everton.
