Liverpool will play the winner of Rabotnicki of Macedonia and Mika of Armenia in the third qualifying round for the Europa League later this month.

Rabotnicki currently lead Mika 1-0 from the first leg of their second round qualifier, with the second leg taking place next Thursday afternoon (22 July).

The draw was made at UEFA Headquarters in Nyon, France on Friday lunchtime where UEFA warned clubs and fans to make appropriate visa applications as soon as possible to avoid complications.

Liverpool will be hoping to go further than last season’s disappointing semi-final exit to the hands of Atletico Madrid – who went on to beat Fulham in the final in Hamburg.

The first leg will take place at Anfield on Thursday 29th July, with the second leg a week later, on Thursday 5th August.

This year’s final will take place at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland in May 2011.
