Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has signed a new two-year deal with the club, to keep him at Anfield until 2013.
The club’s vice-captain will be 35 when the deal runs out, having played for Liverpool for all his career.
Carragher celebrated his testimonial at Anfield last month when a Liverpool XI took on Everton at Anfield. Carra scored for both teams in a great tribute to the Reds number 23.
