Milan in loan move for Aquilani

AC Milan are hoping to secure a loan deal for Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani for next season, if Juventus don’t buy the midfielder this summer.

Aquilani has spent the season on loan at Juve, but the Turin based club must cough up £14million to secure a permanent deal for the Italian international.

According to Italian sports site Calciomercato.it, Milan are hoping to agree a deal with Liverpool to take Aquilani on loan for the 2011/12 season, with then option to buy next summer.

Kenny Dalglish recently suggested Aquilani could still return to Merseyside and play a role in Liverpool’s future.
