Arrivederci Konchesky as Foxes pounce

Paul Konchesky is no longer a Liverpool player after signing for Leicester City for an undisclosed fee.

Reports earlier in the week suggest Sven Goren Eriksson’s side have paid in the region of £1.5million for the 30-year-old left-back, who was last summer for £3million by former Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson.

Konchesky’s Liverpool career was a complete failure, making just 18 appearances before Kenny Dalglish was brought in as caretaker boss in January.

After Dalglish’s appointment, Konchesky didn’t put on the Red shirt again – offloaded on loan to Nottingham Forest for the rest of the season.
