Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has continued his overseas adventures by signing for Muang Thong United in Thailand.
The Toxteth born striker, now 36, takes his familiar number 9 shirt and moves to South East Asia following two seasons in Australia with North Queensland Fury and Perth Glory.
On his arrival in Thailand, Fowler said, “I haven’t played for a couple of months but I will be fit enough when the league restarts.
“I’ve played for many teams over the years and never had any problems making new friends.
“What’s most important for me now is for me to make sure the club wins every single match they play.”
