Christian Poulsen has signed a one-year deal with French side Evian Thonon Gaillard, ending his one-year stay at Liverpool.
Poulsen was signed by former manager Roy Hodgson from Juventus last summer, and made 21 appearances but struggled to hold down a first team place with the Reds.
A statement from Liverpool FC reads, “Everyone at Liverpool Football Club would like to wish Christian the best of luck with his future career.”
