Liverpool set up with potential Stoke FA Cup tie

Liverpool will play Stoke City in the 6th Round of the FA Cup, should they beat Brighton at Anfield this afternoon.

The Reds face the South coast side in the 5th Round at 4.30pm, and the draw, made just a few minutes before kick-off drew the Reds out for a tie at Anfield against Tony Pulis’ side.

Stoke overcame Crawley Town in the fifth round of the competition earlier today 2-0.

Liverpool will be hoping to continue their second round to Wembley this season, with Kenny Dalglish’s side in action in the Carling Cup Final against Cardiff City next Sunday.

The sixth round of FA Cup fixtures will be played on the weekend of 17/18 March.

The full 6th Round draw is as follows:

Liverpool/Brighton vs Stoke City
Chelsea/Brimingham vs Leicester City
Stevenage/Tottenham vs Bolton Wanderers
Everton vs Sunderland
