Jamie Carragher was obviously annoyed by a suggestion by Sky Sports reporter Andy Burton that he was beginning his farewell from playing football for Liverpool.
Being interviewed just minutes after Liverpool dramatically clinched the Carling Cup on a penalty shoot-out against Cardiff City at Wembley on Sunday afternoon, Burton asked Carragher:
“Just looking at you Jamie, you took some certain photos, and you’re really soaking it up. You’re not starting in the team at the moment – is this the start of a farewell?”
To which Carra replied:
“No I don’t think so. Who are you? The manager?!”
