Queens Park Rangers vice-chairman Amit Bhatia has confirmed the London club’s interest in Liverpool forward Craig Bellamy.
Bellamy, 33, is part of the Great Britain Olympic squad and has been linked with a return to his boyhood club Cardiff City earlier this summer.
Bhatia told Sky Sports News:
“We’ve been a fan of Craig Bellamy for the last few years.
“His is definitely a name that has been mentioned but he’s not the only name that we have discussed for that position so we have a few options.
“Mark has loads of names on his list and many of the players we want are wanted by other clubs.
QPR are also said to be interested in Spurs forward Jermaine Defoe.
