Liverpool defender Daniel Agger has admitted only the offer to play for Barcelona could tempt him away from Anfield.
Agger has been the subject of intense speculation regarding his future on Merseyside, with Manchester City having had a £20million bid for the 27-year-old rejected.
Whilst the Reds are thought to be open to listening to offers the higher side of £25million, Agger has publicly stated he has no desire to leave the club.
Currently away on international duty for Denmark ahead of their international friendly against Slovenia tonight, Agger told reporters only the bright lights of the Nou Camp might ever see him leave Liverpool.
He said, “There is one club who would make it very difficult for me to stay at Anfield. Barcelona would be great, because they are the best in the world.
“But I am feeling great where I am. I’m with a special club, and I feel I am influencing what happens on the pitch. I am happy to be a Liverpool player.”
