Loan Watch: Morgan first to head out in Janaury

adam_morganLiverpool reserve team forward Adam Morgan has joined League Two side Rotherham United on month’s loan.

He could make his debut in their FA Cup third-round tie against Aldershot on Saturday.

Morgan isn’t expected to be the only player heading out on loan this January, with full-back Jon Flanagan also expected to leave, while Sebastian Coates could also be loaned out if Brendan Rodgers signs a new centre-back.

Left back Jack Robinson has been linked with a loan move to Derby County. He was on the bench for last night’s win over Sunderland and is expected to start on Sunday. He may now remain at Anfield following injuries to Martin Kelly and Jose Enrique.

Young goalkeeper Jamie Stephens has joined Welsh side Airbus UK Broughton until the end of the season.

Forward Dani Pacheco is expected to depart either on loan or a permanent deal.

Meanwhile, fellow academy player Henoc Mukendi has finished his loan spell at Northampton Town. He failed to make a start in the League for them, mostly appearing from the bench. In total he made 13 appearances either as sub or in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, he scored one goal.
