TV: Liverpool v Stoke to start Premier League season

Liverpool’s opening day fixture against Stoke City will kick off the new Premier League season and be aired by new broadcaster BT Sport.

The match will kick off at 12:45 on August 17th. The Reds second match, at Aston Villa, will also be live on television, with Sky Sports selecting the trip to Villa Park.

Details of all the live TV games were announced this morning, with BT Sport picking up the Merseyside derby in November.

BT will also be showing Steven Gerrard‘s testimonial match against Olympiakos on August 3rd (12:45 kick off). That will be their first match they broadcast.
