Confirmed Liverpool lineup vs West Ham: Sakho starts, Sturridge on the bench

Mamadou Sakho has recovered from injury to remain in the Liverpool side to face West Ham United at Anfield today (3pm kick off), while Daniel Sturridge is on the bench.

The French centre-back was struggling with a back injury but remains in the Reds’ defence alongside Martin Skrtel and Emre Can.

Sturridge is back among the squad for the first time since August, named on the bench. Mario Balotelli drops out of the squad.

Brendan Rodgers’ side are very much at full strength, with Lazar Markovic, Lucas Leiva, Jordan Henderson and Alberto Moreno across midfield.

Adam Lallana replaces Steven Gerrard in the attacking roles alongside Philippe Coutinho, with Raheem Sterling continuing up front.
