Sakho is one of three changes for Brendan Rodgers, with former Swansea midfielder Joe Allen and Alberto Moreno also returning in place of Glen Johnson, Dejan Lovren and Lazar Markovic, who drop to the bench.

Gerrard returns from a spell on the sidelines to start on the bench, where he is also joined by Kolo Toure, Rickie Lambert and Brad Jones.

A win would take Liverpool just two points behind fourth placed Manchester United, with the arch rivals up next at Anfield on Sunday.

Kick off at the Liberty Stadium is 8pm GMT, live on Sky Sports 1 in UK.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Can, Skrtel, Sakho, Allen, Henderson, Lallana, Moreno, Coutinho, Sterling, Sturridge.
