Video: Brendan Rodgers on Liverpool’s defeat at Hull

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers was disappointed with his side’s defending on the goal that won the game for Hull on Tuesday night.

Rodgers said:

“We’re frustrated. Yet again we’ve had enough of the ball in good areas of the field but just lacked that killer instinct in the final third of the field.”

Speaking of the goal conceded from a corner, Rodgers said:

“We’re disappointed with the goal. Apart from the goal we didn’t have too many chances against us but that was poor defending really from us. We didn’t come out together. It’s a free header in the centre of the goal, which should never happen.”

“Now we’ve just got to finish off the season as strong as we can,” he concluded.
