Brendan Rodgers has named new signing Danny Ings in an interesting starting lineup for Liverpool’s first pre-season clash against the True Thai All Stars.
Liverpool kick off their pre-season tour of the Far East and Australia with a visit to the Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok on Tuesday, and Brendan Rodgers has selected two XIs for the clash.
Kicking off with a decidedly weaker lineup, Rodgers has selected new signings Adam Bogdan, Joe Gomez and Danny Ings to start.
Mamadou Sakho, Kolo Toure, Lucas Leiva and Rickie Lambert provide the experience.
Meanwhile, youngsters Jordan Rossiter, Andre Wisdom, Joao Carlos Teixeira and Lazar Markovic will inject some energy into proceedings.
Familiar first-team names such as Simon Mignolet, Martin Skrtel, Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana will start the second half.
James Milner and Divock Origi are also set to make their first outings for the Reds after half-time.
