2 games, 2 wins: 5 topical questions after Liverpool FC’s start to Premier League season

Clearly, the 2015/16 season has begun well for Brendan Rodgers’ side; consecutive 1-0 wins over Stoke City and AFC Bournemouth are nothing to get overly excited about but there have been plenty of positives aside from the results themselves.

The new signings have started life well, with Christian Benteke already on the scoresheet, while the defence has looked more assured than at it’s calamitous best last season.

There are though, still plenty of questions on the minds of supporters. We put five key questions to our team of writers and due to the wealth and depth of their replies we’ve broken them into an article on each. Click through to read each one below.

Question 1: 2 games, 2 wins, 2 clean sheets. How happy are you with the start to the season?

Question 2: Of the new signings, who has impressed you most so far?

Question 3: Two players who continue to divide opinion are Lallana and Lovren. Should either of them be in our strongest XI?

Question 4: What’s your thoughts on the whole Lovren vs. Sakho debate? Would you sell Sakho this month?

Question 5: If you could sign a player for one position in this final fortnight of the transfer window, which position would it be?
