The Reds had no new injury concerns ahead of the Europa League quarter-final second-leg, with all the squad taking part in training except long term absentees; Joe Gomez, Danny Ings, Christian Benteke, Jordan Henderson and Jordan Rossiter.

Daniel Sturridge trained alongside Divock Origi and Roberto Firmino, with manager Jurgen Klopp facing a selection conundrum over who to start with in attack on Thursday night at Anfield.

On a sunny afternoon on Merseyside, the Reds squad were in good spirits, with Klopp gathering them before training began and seemingly sharing a joke or two to relax the mood ahead of the big game.

Wednesday’s press conferences with Klopp and goalkeeper Simon Mignolet were moved to the indoor training facility at Melwood, such was the amount of media present.

Kick off at Anfield on Thursday is 8.05pm BST.
