With Liverpool launching their new home kit for the 2016/17 season on Monday evening, The Redmen TV went behind the scenes at the event.
First-team mainstays Simon Mignolet, Jon Flanagan, Jordan Henderson and Philippe Coutinho, as well as Liverpool Ladies stars Gemma Bonner and Natasha Harding, took to the Mersey to preview next season’s home kit at an exclusive event on Monday.
The men’s side will wear it for the first time in Wednesday night’s clash with Chelsea, but before that, The Redmen TV’s Chris Pajak provided a close-up glimpse of the new kit.
A crowd of 3,000 joined Henderson and Co. on a sunny evening in Liverpool, with each player giving their thoughts on the latest design.
The Reds captain was confident that his side can achieve success in their new kit, but before that Mignolet stressed that European glory was on the horizon this season.
For outfield players there’s buttoned-collar shirt, in red with an amber trim, while Mignolet and his fellow goalkeepers will wear lime green, which the Belgian described as a “vintage” colour for his position.
The kit is available to purchase now, with no pre-order, and Liverpool are offering free worldwide delivery until May 12th, plus a free £10 giftcard until May 31st.
