Sadio Mane’s last-gasp winner in the Merseyside derby inspired plenty of social media activity among the Liverpool squad after the game.
The Reds triumphed in dramatic fashion – even by derby-day standards – as Mane’s 95th minute winner handed Jurgen Klopp’s side a deserved 1-0 win.
Liverpool were far from at their best in a hard-fought clash that saw plenty of desire but a lack of quality, but they earned the rewards for their unrelenting pursuit of victory with a memorable stoppage time winner.
The significance of a moment like that cannot be underestimated, with the boost it will provide Klopp’s side as they hunt down the Premier League title.
It was no surprise therefore to see Klopp’s heroes share the moment with fans across their social media accounts, and here’s what they had to say.
