“2 massive points dropped” – Supporters react to Liverpool 2-2 Bournemouth

After Liverpool looked likely to secure a second win on the bounce at home to Bournemouth, supporters were left stunned by a late equalising goal.

Liverpool 2-2 Bournemouth

Premier League, Anfield
April 5, 2017

Goals: Coutinho 40′, Origi 59′; Afobe 7′, King 87′

It took 87 minutes for the Cherries to find their second goal of the night, but it proved hugely damaging to the Reds’ hopes as Josh King fired home late on.

King’s strike partner, Benik Afobe, had got Bournemouth off to a great start at Anfield, before goals from Philippe Coutinho and Divock Origi looked to have set Liverpool on their way.

However, as Jurgen Klopp looks to move on without the injured Sadio Mane, his side once again showed a frustrating inconsistency.

Here’s how supporters reacted to Liverpool’s 2-2 draw at home to Bournemouth.

A sloppy Wijnaldum handed Afobe the opener…

After a shaky half-hour, Coutinho levelled the scores…
