Liverpool have officially launched their new away kit for season 2018/19, the colour is described by the club as deep violet, but it looks purple to us.
Again manufactured by New Balance, the away kit follows on from the home kit launch in May.
Similar to the home kit, there’s some nice symmetry, with the New Balance, Standard Chartered and Western Union logos all the same colour as the Liverbird badge.
LFC write that: “The kit adopts the same jacquard linear graphic to the front body of the home shirt, reflecting the architecture of Anfield’s iconic Main Stand. It also features Alpha Orange branding, highlighting key detail throughout the kit – a continuation of last season’s Third jersey which proved successful both on and off the pitch.”
The goalkeeper kit is a “bold vivid cactus” colour.
This year’s theme from New Balance is ‘This Means More’ – complete with bizarrely uncapitalised e in means.
* The new kit is available to pre-order from the official Liverpool FC store, here.
