We’re going to Milan

Liverpool have drawn Italian giants Inter Milan in the second round of the Champions League.
The draw was made shortly at 11am in Nyon, with Liverpool’s chief executive Rick Parry in attendance.

After pulling off a remarkable comeback to qualify as runners-up from the group stage, behind FC Porto, Liverpool will face Inter at home in the first leg to be played on 19/20 February. The return leg at the San Siro will be played on the 4/5 March.

Other ties involving the British clubs remaining in the competition see Celtic with a tricky test against Barcelona, Lyon play Manchester United, Arsenal face European Champions AC Milan and Chelsea will be off to Greece to play Olympiakos.
